I first met Faye in 2011, when she was highly recommended to us to work with my son who was 5 at the time and had a diagnosis of autism and spastic diplegia cerebral palsy and had just returned from the states having had SDR.
Faye’s kind and fun nature shone from the first session, she was patient, nurturing and strong even when Joe would find it hard to engage, she was able to assess the session stage by stage to enable Joe to keep going and keep his focus and was able to turn every day fun activities into a an exercise so the demand on Joe to do ‘physio’ simply wasn’t there.
10 years later, although we no longer work together due to distance, Faye is always at the end of the phone to offer advice and ideas, her unique way she thinks outside the box is nothing like any other physio we have worked with. She really nurtures and engages with the children on and individual level and the esteem she built in Joe with her ‘of course we can’ attitude as a result of her approach to physio has significantly impacted Joe in the most positive way.
We consider ourselves extremely lucky and fortunate to have had the absolute pleasure of watching her build joes strength, not just physically but emotionally and mentally too and with no hesitation I whole heartedly recommend Faye to anyone considering her.
