Faye first touched our lives before she went off to university. A teenager so dedicated to caring for others that she used to travel 14 miles each way on the bus to spend time with Emma.
There is no more trust you can show in someone than to hand over to them the sole care of your child diagnosed with autism, and minimal understanding of language aged just 7 years old and totally reliant on others to always keep her safe. Faye still cares about us all despite the years, unfortunately so many more miles and the feeling is so mutual.
How privileged every child you see, and their family are going to be.
Katie, Emma’s Mum
